Pol Bury Belgium, 1922-2005

Pol Bury was a major figure of European kinetic art. After early connections with Surrealism and the Cobra group, he developed from the 1950s onward a practice based on slow movement and subtle transformation of form. His sculptures and kinetic reliefs explore the perception of time and space and hold a significant place in the history of kinetic art.
